Mark Ho lives and works in London. His practice explores sensuality and vulnerable masculinity, drawing on memories of beach life in South Cronulla, Australia. Influenced by the visual language of late Victorian and Edwardian painting, his work combines tenderness with a sense of nostalgia.

Through sun-drenched depictions of young men, Mark considers the beauty and vulnerability of youth, while raising questions around the portrayal, exhibition and reception of the male body.
